DIETING

I've been on a diet. Thanks to this.

I want to prepare myself for the upcoming cruise.

Dieting SUCKS.

No sugars - I'm serious. None.

No starches. - Yeah - none.

As in, no potatoes, corn, carrots, bread, cereal, pretty much ANYTHING, sweets, etc.

This is tough.

BUT, I'm done with the "detox" stage - and I think I'm gonna make it.

In the meantime, I'm working on the list of things I will be munching on as soon as I can call quits to this diet.

The list, as of this morning was:

Brownie (s)
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
Butterfinger (I don't know why that sounds so good.)
Loaf of Homemade Bread
Peppermint Taffy
Mint Truffle

...and today's addition...


Mashed Potatoes.

Eat well all you lucky UNDIETERS.

Eat well.

Easy now, missy. If you're too strict, you'll binge like crazy and then you'll gain more than six. Moderation in all things. Maybe just try cuttin' out the sugar, but keep in whole grains?

Is that what you did on your diet Kim? I've been wondering about you since I started this - this is poopy. How did you do it for so long?

Basically I just stopped eating dessert and treats. I didn't cut out carbs or fats, but I was still moderate. It's not like I pigged out on carbs and fats. And if I really wanted something, I'd have it. But just a half portion every now and again (like once a week). It's okay to have a half a brownie once a week, don't you think?

I need to start doing that again.

I agree with Kim. You have to watch what you eat but not be to strict. You have to be able to enjoy life and food does help me enjoy life!
